Residential Program

HOUSING & IN-HOME SUPPORT SERVICES:  Vesta provides housing and in-home support services at all Vesta locations. Housing is provided in the form of townhouses, and single family houses.  Each person has his or her own bedroom.  All properties are furnished though each person is encouraged to bring personal possessions of importance to them, and to decorate the living units according to their liking.  Assistance with roommate matching, shared household management, sharing of resources, and conflict resolution is readily available.

REFERRALS:  All referrals or requests for residential services must come through the Mental Health Authority in the county of residence. If you are not currently in Vesta's Residential Program, but are interested in residential program services, contact your service team for a housing application.

SERVICES:  Services provided through the Residential Program are flexible, and change as the individual's needs change. These services include:

• medication monitoring
• linkage with medical services
• building social support networks
• transportation
• in-home skills training
• roommate matching
• conflict resolution
• house meetings and chore monitoring
• NA/AA meetings
• substance abuse support groups
• crisis intervention
• housing conditions monitoring and repairs

LEVEL OF IN-HOME SUPPORT:  The level of support provided to individuals will vary according to need.  Intensity of contact ranges from weekly visits to 24 hour in-home staff support.
