The mission of A Wider Circle is to advance equity in the greater Washington, DC region by fostering the exchange of goods, skills, and connections from neighbor to neighbor, and by engaging in advocacy to address the root causes of poverty.

Capital Area Food Bank is one of the largest, public nonprofit hunger and nutrition education resources in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Prince George’s County trains ordinary citizen volunteers who are empowered by the courts to provide best interest advocacy for over 150 abused and neglected children and youth each year.

Community Outreach and Development (Community Development Corporation Community Outreach) is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2000 whose mission is developing and implementing programs to better the quality of life for families and individuals.

John H. Bayne is a uniform comprehensive school located in Capitol Heights, Maryland, serving over 489 students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. 

Eckerd Connects is a leading provider of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded programs in the US, currently operating over 100 workforce development programs providing Title I Youth, Adult, & Dislocated Worker services as well as managing One Stop Operations for regional Career Centers. 

Jubilee Housing’s mission is to build diverse, compassionate communities that create opportunities for everyone to thrive. 

As one of the most trusted organizations working to reduce poverty in southern Haiti, Hope for Haiti is focused on providing support and partnership to the Haitian people every single day.

Manna’s mission is to eliminate hunger through food distribution, education, and advocacy.

Together with our tremendous volunteers, donors, and partners we are fighting hunger, feeding hope, and helping our neighbors get back on their feet.

Red Wiggler is a sustainable Care Farm where people with and without developmental disabilities come together to work, learn, and grow healthy food.

River Jordan Project provides outreach services that eliminate hunger by providing healthy and nutritious food that promotes wellness and wholesome lifestyle.

The Salvation Army serves families and people in crisis living throughout the National Capital Area of DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. 

The food bank supplies emergency food to 35 food pantries in the region. In response to increasing food insecurity, the Southern Maryland Food Bank also manages a local food pantry, a food truck, a community garden and the delivery of healthy groceries to at-risk children and senior citizens.

Sowing Empowerment & Economic Development, Inc. (SEED) provides food, clothing, education and training to create environments where all individuals are empowered, all children are nurtured, families are strengthened, and communities are transformed.
